Todd Schuetz
Todd Schuetz is the CEO and President of Schuetz Communications with offices in Los Angeles and Palm Springs, CA.
With over 25 years of experience in the public relations industry, Todd is a seasoned professional. Having worked on the corporate side for many years, Todd has spent the last eleven years working for several bi-coastal boutique public relations firms including Marketing Maven, Steinreich Communications, H&M Communications and Mullberry Street Market Intelligence.
After his corporate and agency work, Todd worked as a freelance consultant for some of the top consumer brands, the travel & hospitality side, entertainment/sports, and medical service companies throughout the United States. Having worked in the Los Angeles, San Diego, Palm Springs and San Francisco markets, Todd has developed a strong base of media contacts on the west coast as well as the top media markets throughout the country.
Todd has secured client coverage on the Doctors, Hallmark Home & Family, Ellen, Good Day La, KTLA, KCAL/KCBS, the Wendy Williams Show, Good Morning America, Today Show, USA Today, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal, Associated Press, among others.
Todd began his career in the publishing industry, where he worked as a literary publicist for several large publishing houses. His career brought him to Chicago, where he worked in the corporate public relations department of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, broadening his experience into the specialized medical field. At the Academy, Todd was recognized for his outstanding achievements and excellence in public relations with the PR Weekly Non‐Profit Team of the Year Award in 2002. He worked on the Academy’s award‐winning Prevent Injuries of America campaign and worked with orthopaedic surgeons in promoting injury prevention messages in their local communities.
In 2004, Todd left the mid-west to fulfill a life long dream of living in Southern California.
Todd earned a bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Todd is an active member of the Public Relations Society of America and volunteers his time to local HIV awareness programs for teens and young adults.
